Membership & Privacy
We make every effort to safeguard private information which is provided by our members when registering for an account with the SCS website. Some information, such as user's locations, is made public in order to provide services such as lists of this month's member birthdays and member local listings. It is not required to fill out this information in order to take advantage of other areas of the site.
Messages / Mailing Lists
As a member of this site, you may receive messages related to the site, such as announcements of events, planned maintenance or the availability of products for online purchase. By using the member features of this website, you are agreeing to receive such announcements. You may request that your membership be deleted at any time by emailing account-removal@simpsonscollectors.com.
The Local Listings pages on this website provide the ability for members to email each other. Abuse of this feature will not be tolerated; if you receive a threatening, harrassing or otherwise offensive message through this site, please email staff@simpsonscollectors.com immediately to report the incident.
Password Retrieval
For security purposes, your password is stored in an encrypted format. We cannot provide you with your password should you lose it. However, you can request that your password be reset by sending an email to staff@simpsonscollectors.com from the email address which is associated with your account.

We make every effort to ensure that content we link to is accurate and appropriate for our viewers. However, since we do not have control over the content offered on any other site, please follow links off-site with caution.
Other Sites
Other websites wishing to report on SCS news, release guide updates, magazine articles, etc. may do so without prior permission. One hundred pixel tall thumbnail images from the SCS may be copied and used on other websites (never directly linked), provided that a textual link of the words "Simpsons Collector Sector" to http://www.simpsonscollectors.com is included along with the image. The connection between the news or image and the SCS must be made clear to even a casual visitor, appearing alongside the main content.
Larger thumbnail images are also available. The larger images can be accessed by running favelet/bookmarklet (reference) on the page that contains the thumbnail you want to use.
You may not link directly to images on the SCS site from your website (excluding the buttons and banners above), nor should you use more than one thumbnail per story. If there are a lot of images from our site that your visitors might like to see, please link directly to our content page (news, release guide or magazine item) which contains those images.
You may not remove or obscure any watermarks or "credit bars" which we have placed on our images.
You may not use images from the World of Springfield Database (including thumbnails) without prior written permission.

Neither eBay sellers nor online retailers may use our images without prior permission. If you notice an auction or retail site using our images, please help us by reporting it immediately.
