Released by Dark Horse Comics
In this age of high-tech toys, games, and gadgets, the new Pop-out People from Dark Horse Comics bring back memories of a simpler time when Colorforms, Lite Brite, and Shrinky Dinks could keep a child busy all day.
The unique thing about this product line that appeals to collectors is that, starting with release #2, Pop-out People will be some of the only Simpsons merchandise to be based on specific episodes and to go so far as to even include episode titles and production codes on the packaging.
The series launched in July. New editions of Simpsons as well as Futurama Pop-out People are scheduled to come out once a month. Each set costs about $2.99 and may be available from any comic book store or other outlet that orders through Diamond Comics. We have found them available for pre-order at Things From Another World, New Force Comics, and Westfield Comics, but only Things From Another World still has every set available.
