SCS At SDCC: We Came, We Saw, We Geeked

Last month, between July 19 and 23, well over 100,000 geeks descended upon sunny San Diego in southern California for the year's top pop culture gathering... Comic Con International. The SCS was there as usual and we have added images and information in our SCS Magazine. We enjoyed seeing everyone again and we do hope to see more Simpsageeks next year. With the Simpsons movie being released next summer the same weekend as the Con, expect lots of Simpsons-related excitement in San Diego. Keep your eye on the official Comic Con website as 2007 approaches for information on registering!

SCS At SDCC: Gentle Giant's Bust-Ups

There weren't too many Simpsons products on display in general at the San Diego Comic Con last month, but Gentle Giant delivered the goods as usual. They had on display all of their Simpsons bust-ups, including a number of new ones. These new prototypes included: Homer seducing Marge, Ralph Wiggum with a Valentine card, and Itchy ripping out Scratchy's heart. The theme of this series appears to be love/hearts. No word yet on a release date. Upcoming series this year include a music-themed third series and a fourth series themed again around THOH.
