I Heartily Endorse This Review Or Product

Sideshow Toy is still churning out their Simpsons mini-busts and Michael Crawford reviews the latest on his Review of the Week site... Krusty the Klown! It's just started to ship and is available to order on the Sideshow website. They also have preorders for the other busts revealed at Toy Fair: Wiggum, Sideshow Bob, Grampa Simpson, and Willie. TV Guide's Top Cult Shows

The Simpsons are on one of four collector covers of next week's TV Guide, as they countdown the "Top 25 Cult Shows Ever". The Simpsons are #6 on the list. The list seems to have been determined by how rabid the fanbase is. The article mentions the show's subversive humor and merchandise as sign of its cult-ability. This issue is on newstands now.

According to Diamond Comics' weekly shipping list, the following Simpsons items will ship this week to comic stores and other retailers who ordered them:

Cowabunga, dude!

More Simpsons plush dolls are on the way from Applause (click on the Bart head at the top for a look at various items). These include two medium-sized, sports-themed dolls of Bart. They features Bart on a skateboard and also Bart playing soccer. We first reported on this awesome line at Toy Fair 2003. Thanks to SCS member iamevilhomer for the info.

Simpsons Clothes Have Gone Old School!

One of the more popular of the recently released Simpsons t-shirts is this "Old School" shirt featuring a high school age Homer. This is now available at Target stores. Many comic shops that carry t-shirts also have a large selection of Simpsons shirts. They are also available at Hot Topic, which has a very nice selection of assorted Simpsons clothing.

The Fourth Annual Blinky Awards!

Better late than never, right? After a long delay, the SCS is proud to present The Fourth Annual Blinky Awards, honoring the best of the WoS line from 2003. With all the sadness over the upcoming end, we think it's a good idea to look back and reflect positively on what an amazing line this has been and what a great year 2003 was for collectors! Big, BIG thanks to member Zen411 for his work on this year's ceremony. You rock!

Must've Been Those Beanz I Had For Dinner...

The many licensed Mighty Beanz toys are red hot and now we Simpsacrap collectors have been sucked in. Just launched is an assortment of forty Simpsons Beanz, packed randomly in sets of five (the hunt is on!). The first sighting is an eBay auction by seller stacyrob (who has provided a loose image). These should be available at stores like Toys R Us, KB, and Walmart soon. We wantee!

At long last, the anticipated Simpsons inflatable figures are starting to show up. We first reported on them almost a year and a half ago and updated on them at Toy Fair. No store sightings yet, but eBay seller fblaze has these up for auction. There are ten figures so far: Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Apu, Ralph Wiggum, Itchy & Scratchy, Mr. Burns, and Krusty the Klown. Others, like Sideshow Bob and Comic Book Guy, are also tentatively planned.

Simpsacrap Museum Open For Business!

As we reported last month, SCS member "Don't Have A Cow Man" has created a Simpsons collectors museum in his home. It is now finished and he's happy to show visitors around. But he gives everyone a detailed look inside at his website. Can we be the first to say "WOW!". Color us both jealous and impressed... kudos Yale!
