We're officially retiring our petition to thank Jeff Trojan of PlayMates for all his help and information. Jeff will be leaving Playmates Toys soon to begin working for Play Along toys on a project with Art Asylum. Since we began last September, we've collected 369 signatures and messages of thanks! Good luck, Jeff and thanks for all your help... don't forget those March questions before you go!
The second celebrity series 2-pack, Bowling Marge and Jacques, is available for preorder from Amazon.com. Since we suspect that this set will be a Toys 'R Us exclusive, we highly recommend ordering it online. It is listed as shipping on July 22, 2002.
Amazon.com also has preorders up for many non-exclusive Simpsons items, such as the interactive Springfield Elementary Schoolbus.
The Celebrity 2-Pack: Homer and Lurleen with Mobile Home playset is no longer listed as an in-stock preorder on Amazon.com. This most likely means that the preorder allocation has sold out. We recommend that anyone who ordered the Celebrity 2-Pack online Email Amazon. Make sure to include your order number and request that your shipping costs be updated to reflect the revised 2 pound shipping weight of the 2-pack.

The release date for the Season 2 DVD set has been delayed again - pushed back to July 23, 2002; previously the set was expected to be released on July 9, 2002.

Members SBBEDD and FrankOnorati have found Series 8 figures at Targets in the San Diego and Los Angeles areas. The hunt has begun again!
Our friends at Rocket USA provided us with this promotional photo of the upcoming Simpsons Pewter Chess set. This item consists of 32 different character figures and a themed gameboard. Sold only as a set, it will be available in the US exclusively from Rocket USA in April or May, with an expected retail price of $799.
