Markwars1972 has updated our World of Springfield Price Guide and Mark's Master List. The master list is something like a portable version of the WoS Database (without the phrases) - collecting lots of detailed information about the World of Springfield line of figures.
UPDATE (2/6): Playmates Toys has sent us the official prototype image for this set.
We have updated our Release Guide entry with the photo.
The folks at American Dream Comics have put up a much larger version of the prototype shot of the Military Antique Store environment than the one seen at Game Stop's website. This larger image allows you to get a much better look at the some of the amazing details that have been put into this set. This set is due out with Series 13 in June.

There has been some confusion regarding the eligibility of playset UPCs in the Be-Sharp offers. Playmates has now confirmed that the figures are the only redeemable UPCs for these offers. The fulfillment house may honor playset UPCs, but don't count on it. Also, contrary to what is currently stated on the Playmates website, only the Series 11 UPCs are eligible for the Be-Sharp Apu offer.

Whichever site dies last gets all the domains! No, wait... that's not how it works, is it?!?
In response to our concerns, the staff of Simpson Crazy have redirected their SCS type-alike domain simpsonscollector.com, along with Collecting Simpsons! original domain collectingsimpsons.com, to a new collecting site "portal" they have created. We think this is a great compromise that gives their site some publicity without leading casual visitors astray. Thanks, Simpson Crazy!

Tonight at 8PM/7C is the actual 300th episode of 'The Simpsons' by count (though Fox is officially celebrating that milestone on Sunday the 16th). When Marge gets mugged, she's afraid to go back out in public, until she starts weightlifting so she can protect herself better... but weightlifting soon leads to serious bodybuilding. It is followed by a rerun of "Large Marge" at 8:30PM.
