Toy Fair Exclusive Rocket USA Clicker

Member Max Power got an advance copy of this Toy Fair 2002 exclusive collectible from Rocket USA. It is the same kind of tin metal clicker the company will be releasing in Simpsons designs this year (check them out and/or pre-order them at Grant's Toys), but this design will apparently be an exclusive promotional giveaway at Toy Fair 2002. Check out our site this week for exclusive coverage of Simpsons merchandise at the big event.

Member shaughn13 took these interesting 360 degree-angle pictures (more like mini-videos) of the three new All-Star Voices figures. Sit back, leave your 3D glasses on the desk, and view Herb Powell, Troy McClure, and Fat Tony in stunning 3D.

Member shaughn13 took these pictures of the new All-Star Voices figures after finding them in his Sacramento, CA Wal-Mart. They have also been arriving in Illinois, Indiana, and Texas Wal-Marts. He has some more loose pictures of the figures up as well. Troy's videotape accessories read "Christmas Ape Goes to Summer Camp" and "The Wackiest Covered Wagon in the West."

Mark Tarses of Sunway Co. reports that the producer of Belly Washers 100% Vitamin C Drinks will be releasing beverages in Simpsons bottles this Spring. Their web site shows off character bottles including Scooby Doo, Looney Tunes, and Marvel and DC superheroes among others, complete with posable figural bottle toppers. The company sells their drinks in 7-11 convenience stores throughout the U.S.

Member ArtCop1 is the first person on the internet to report finding the new World of Springfield All-Star Voices figures (the official final name of the Celebrity Series) in retail stores. He found them at his local Wal-Mart Supercenter in Normal, Illinois. This is also the first time a new WoS product has hit Wal-Mart first. They may have rushed them in to fill the empty space they've had on their pegs since shortly after Christmas after setting up their new plan-o-gram.

Reader Vince S. sent us the news that Maggie Roswell, voice of Maude Flanders, Helen Lovejoy, Miss Hoover, et al., who left the show in a contract dispute as detailed in this article, will be returning to the show next season, as the voice of Maude in the next Halloween Special. We confirmed this with Maggie at her web site Roswell 'n' Rayle Inc. This warming of relations between Roswell and FOX could bode well for potential WoS figures of her characters, although she is still asking fans to write FOX to bring her and her characters back on a regular basis.

Member Treehouse of Horror reports that The Hamilton Collection has announced the second and third figurines in their Simpsons "The Misadventures of Homer" collection, entitled "D'oh! Nuts!" and "Asleep on the Job." This flyer scanned by member ViewAskewMike is being sent to previous customers. "D'oh! Nuts!" is now available to order by phone at 1-800-545-2077 (9AM-7PM EST M-F) for $19.95 + shipping. The first figurine, "Woo-hoo!", is still available to order online.

Planet Action Figure now has last year's Simpsons Family Car on clearance for more than a third off the original retail price at $12.99.

According to Diamond Comics' weekly shipping list, the following Simpsons items will be shipping this Wednesday to comic stores and other retailers who ordered them:

Member Ketracel White spotted some new Valentine's Day-themed Simpsons boxer shorts at Target. Decorated in seasonal red and black, they feature a large picture on front of a reclining Homer dressed only in splotches of melted chocolate with a strategically placed almost empty box of chocolates in front of him. The image is captioned, "Simply Irresistible."
