Hey Stu, You Should Buy That Doll

Applause is continuing to roll out its line of detailed Simpsons plush dolls. The new set, hitting Hot Topic stores now, are: Bumblebee Man, Disco Stu, Apu, Otto, and Ragin' Willie. These are around 12-14" tall and sell for $14 each. There are also new Christmas plushes that should be available online and in some stores. Thanks to SCS member RobVanDamJ, eBay seller dragonflymerc, and Simpsons Crazy for all the info on these.

Every year, the SCS holds our Blinky Awards, celebrating the best of the WoS line in the past year. This time around, we're doing something different and celebrating the WoS line as a whole. We're taking nominations now in our WoS forum; the final voting will take place in a special forum later this month. Thanks to member SimpsonGeek for his help with organizing this. We previously did award ceremonies for the 2000, 2001, and 2002, and 2003 years.

Deck The Halls With Simpsacrap

'Tis the season... where all the hundreds of dollars that Simpsons collectors have spent on Hamilton/Collectible Today's Christmas Village, the Simpsons Christmas Express, and other products finally get to be worthwhile. SCS members have been posting pictures of their Christmas setups on our forums, so if you have some of your own, please share. We want to see your collections!

Bongo Celebrates 100 Issues of Simpsons Comics!

Bongo Comics celebrated a great milestone last week- the release of the 100th issue of "Simpsons Comics". The story involves an in-joke story about Bart discovering that Springfield's citizens have been the subject of hundreds of comic book stories. You can get this issue now at the Android's Dungeon or any major comic book shop. This is two-part story, continued in issue #101. Congrats to Bongo for all the great work!
