New moderators are chosen from the ranks of the membership by the current moderators based on their contributions to the community and the member's attitude towards others on the board. The quality of their posts is just as if not more important than the quantity.

Moderators are chosen based on their posts, their demonstrated commitment to the board, and their ability to fulfill the needs of the board.

New moderators will only be chosen when specific needs develop on the board, such as when a new forum is created.
