Merchandise Releases:
Fast Food Premiums

Released by Burger King

In November 2002, Burger King is doing another Simpsons promotion featuring talking watches, similar to the Rugrats watches they did a few years ago. The four watches are Homer, Bart, Simpsons family, and Krusty. Each Talking Watch uses digital recordings that, with the push of a button, deliver the familiar voices from the hit TV series. Each watch also has special design features such as decorated bands, translucent materials and oversized watch faces. The quotes are: the Family Drive watch has the Simpsons kids whining "Are we there yet?" while Homer yelps "No!;" the Bart watch has Springfield's most famous fourth-grader exclaiming "Cool your jets, man!;" the Homer watch has the food fanatic crooning "Mmm ... burgers!"; and the Krusty watch has the clown laughing "Hey kids, it's story time!" followed by his notorious cynical laugh.

This promotion also featured a variety of product packaging featuring our favorite family. Among them was 8 collectible "Springfield Revealed" cups, available if you King Sized your value meal, each featuring a specific character. Smaller cups and trayliners rounded out the promotion.
