Captain Toy & Be-Sharp Skinner Record A Duet

People are beginning to receive their Be-Sharp Skinner figures, including Michael Crawford who has a new review on the his review website tonight. A Simpsons board game version of "Jeopardy!" is set to be released soon from Pressman Toy Corp. The game features 47 categories and over 1,100 answers. This is one in a long line of board games with a Simpsons flavor, including Simpsons Clue and Simpsons Monopoly.

Simpsons Diecast Cars Coming Soon

An interesting new item is coming from Johnny Lightning- Simpsons diecast cars! They are 1/64 scale (Hot Wheels size) and the series includes replicas of Homer's car, Chief Wiggum's police cruiser, the Springfield Elementary School Bus, and Marge's car. These are set for an August/September release and will sell for about $4.99 each. Thanks to Grant from for the info/pics.

Tracy Ullman Set Available For Preorder

It would appear that the Toys R Us-online exclusive Tracy Ullman Era set is now available for preorder on There is no description for the item yet but the Fall release date and the $39.99 price tag indicates that the "Simpsons Flashback Figure and Diorama Set" is the Ullman set.

Be-Sharp Skinner Now Shipping In U.S.

The first batch of Be-Sharp Skinner mailaway figures have begun shipping in the U.S. today. Collectors in Arizona have received theirs already and people in other areas should have them any day now. Mr. Burns Rerelease... Take Two!

The new issue of Lee's Toy Review has revealed the first prototype image of the Burns/Smithers rerelease diorama set, which we previously reported on. It is set to be a Target exclusive released this summer. While the Smithers figure has a new head sculpt, it is unclear whether or not Mr. Burns is the same one rereleased with Series 12.

Fox To Release THOH-Themed DVD

Coming hot off the heels of the Season 3 DVD, Fox is releasing a "Treehouse of Horror" compilation DVD on September 2nd and will retail for about $15, according to It includes four episodes and a Kang and Kodos video montage. This set was previously released in R2 along with other themed DVD sets, but this is the first time Fox has released this type of DVD in Region 1.
