SCS staffer Michael Crawford reports that McFarlane has announced the titles for their initial Simpsons lineup: Ironic Punishment and Family Couch Gag. 'Ironic Punishment', as you remember from the THOH III set in the WoS line is Hell as seen in a THOH segment. The specific couch gag being used for the other set is not yet known. These two multi-figure boxed sets will be the launch of the line for McFarlane. If this is successful, the line will branch out more in 2006.

2006 Calendars Revealed

Amazon.com has revealed the cover art for the Simpsons 2006 Fun Calendar, featuring Simpsons characters jumping the Springfield Gorge. It is due out from HarperEntertainment in June. They also have listings/cover art up for the Mini-Calendar and the Trivial Simpsons 365-Day Box Calendar. Thanks to gusbanks and Simpsons Channel for the heads up.

'One Step Beyond Forever': Cover Art Revealed!

Amazon.com's European site has shown the cover art for the next Simpsons guide book, which is due out at the end of October. 'The Simpsons One Step Beyond Forever : A Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family...Continued Yet Again' is the fourth set in the "Complete Guide To Our Favorite Family" book series, following up on A Complete Guide To Our Favorite Family, The Simpsons Forever!, and The Simpsons Beyond Forever!. This edition covers Seasons 13 and 14. Thanks to gusbanks for the heads up.
