They have also revealed the extras- an impressive list as always. Captain Toy Introduces... Toy-Pix!

Our own Michael Crawford has launched a new website: Toy Pix. This project is a collaboration between Michael and some of the toy industry's top sculptors, painters and designers to give fans an opportunity to buy a new kind of memorabilia... personal autographs of classic toys. Available on the site are high quality 8x10" glossy photos which are individually autographed-- nothing preprinted. The prices are very reasonable, with much of the profits going to charities like Toys For Tots. Check out the site and show 'em some love!

'Lard Lad' Prototype Revealed!

The fourth set by McFarlane Toys is the 'Lard Lad' boxed set, which captures the infamous segment from 'Treehouse of Horror 4'. Includes articulated Homer and Lard Lad with removable donut. The new issue of Diamond Comic's Previews magazine has an advertisment for the set and SCS member SloppyJimbo was able to get a picture for us (click thumbnail for larger version). The McFarlane site says the set will a "Springfield cityscape diorama", which seems missing in this prototype, so we will have to wait for later images to find out for sure. The catalog lists a January release date, but the McFarlane site still says February.
